Re: Want to Buy--Front Core Support

I appreciate the offer sir, but I'm not sure that a 71 would work on mine--need a 73-80.

Checked on the 78 here and it's gone. Will see what else they have this week if it stops raining.

I am in NY so everything I find here is rusted up bad. I understand I will either have to travel or pay shipping to get non-rotted parts. Feel free to quote your core support shipped to 13027 if you like.

Re: Want to Buy--Front Core Support

You can check with grey hound on shipping. If the person shipping it can put cardboard around it and take it to grey hound, you should be able to get it shipped for $50-75. Check out greyhound package express for more info.

Re: Want to Buy--Front Core Support

If you take it to Greyhound MAKE SURE you get the shipping quote in writing and on the packaging and get the quoter to sign it. They are famous for being different every time you walk in the door. I have had the pice double before.

Re: Want to Buy--Front Core Support

Here's a clean one from a 76. Straight with surface rust only. I'll strip it to a bare core support. $100 plus $85 to ship Greyhound. Thanks, Sharpie

Great Thanks! Is the Greyhound shipment insured at all? Please PM me with how you would like to be paid.

Thanks!

Re: Want to Buy--Front Core Support

Yes, I think the insurance is just a few bucks for Greyhound and I can cover that. The nearest station is 200 miles round trip for me, but I'm running some parts there this weekend so it will work out great. I'll PM payment info.
Thanks, Sharpie

Hi Charles, here's pictures of your bare support and the "extras". Everything came apart nicely. Let me know what you might need out of them and I'll include them in the package. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Want to Buy--Front Core Support

Hi Dennis-

Thanks for posting those pics. I actually need it all except for the lower valance. Let me know if you need a little more towards the shipping to cover the excess weight.

Thanks!

Re: Want to Buy--Front Core Support

Shouldn't add too much weight. Should package up nicely now that it's apart. Do you need the hood latch as well? Thanks, Sharpie
