Gauge ideas

I'm trying to figure out a cool way to set up some auto meter gauges in the gauge stock location on a 62 and I'm looking for some ideas.

Re: Gauge ideas

I like how that looks with using the 3 3/8" speedo, then the 2 5/8" gauge next and then a 2 1/16" gauge on the outside. I wouldn't have thought of doing that.....

Re: Gauge ideas

Check this out. I downloaded this not too long ago, but I don't remember where I got it (maybe from here). A late model dash put in a double humper. Amazing craftsmanship. I know it's not AutoMeter gauges but I thought I'd just throw this out there.

Re: Gauge ideas

That was the 4x4 Suburban with the Duramax that was on Ebay, and on Spike's Powerblock.

You need two tools in life: duct tape and WD-40. If it moves and it shouldn't, you use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, you use WD-40.

Re: Gauge ideas

Here's mine. It's just black plexi-glass. I mounted the tach on a stalk that attaches to the visor location in the original holes and ran the wires thru the A-Pillar.
