Bucket Seat Swap and Center Console Build

My stock interior was old and ragged so I began revamping it all this spring. I started with donor door panels, dash pad and pillar trim from a 91 Suburban. I got some other misc. interior pieces from a donor pickup. That held me over for awhile then I started some more. Painted a section of my door panels to match the trim piece on the dash and cut tread plate as lower door panels. I know you all hate the diamond plate but it goes well with my truck as I have the bedrails and the tailgate band done in it. I also eBayed the chrome door handle inserts and mounted them. I then cornered a set of power bucket seats from a Dodge Durango. I made custom brackets and mounted them. To finish the project off I built a custom center console from scratch. I like how it all turned out!

Re: Bucket Seat Swap and Center Console Build

Thanks guys, they are out of a 1998 Dodge Durango. The brackets I made were out angle iron, the risers were from 2" square tube. Ill post up some pics of the brackets asap!

Good job.
Nice job on the fabric coordination.

Looks like the hat was switched for a baseball cap during your swap/build.

Hey did the console come with the seats or did you fab it up? I know you added the diamond plate.

Re: Bucket Seat Swap and Center Console Build

Great job on the console. The diamond plate would look great with some switches on it or something on the console. Looks good.

I rarely ever use the term 'sweet' but this makeover deserves it. GJ on the seats!

Re: Bucket Seat Swap and Center Console Build

Still waiting to see the bracket build-up on the sweet seats.....Would love to update the '85 to a 60/40 bench but not confident enough to jump on the brackets.......
