Re: Truck show pics... Texas Heat Wave 2011
some real nice ones in your sets, the turn signals and iron cross truck is a little weird to me, but to each their own, mild to wild at the show from the looks of it

Re: Truck show pics... Texas Heat Wave 2011
yea wish I coulda went. just finished a buddies truck paintjob on his f350 so he could make this show, but couldnt go with, too many other things to do. at least i didnt have to deal with the weather, but woulda been nice to be there and see what everyone thought about the paintjob if nothing else. im hoping someone will post all the pics from the show so i can see, not just the chevys and gmcs, ya know, just to feel like i was there and didnt miss anything.... that would make me the lazy car guy tho lol

Re: Truck show pics... Texas Heat Wave 2011
Man, it's been so long since I've been to Heatwave. The last time I went was when it was at the Dell Diamond and the DPS set up shop outside the gates busting everyone with equipment violations as they rolled in. Luckily, I was only a spectator that year or I would have been hit too.

Re: Truck show pics... Texas Heat Wave 2011
Thanks for the pics man -- that's a lot of obs trucks.
Not that anybody should care what I think, but... My favorites 1. The blue and white hotrod-style truck is cool to me. 2. OD green 3. I still love the full phantom gmc front end -- and it looks killer powdercoated all black (first truck, post 4) 4. (fourth pic, post 9) That truck is tucking some gigantic wheels. My not-so-favorites (aka the "to each his own" file) 1. Lambo doors (as always) 2. homemade convertibles 3. faded headlights on a show truck (gee, if only somebody repopped these headlights) 4. and of course, the Mad-Max, double-stack, Maltese cross...thing...although, when I look again, he apparently got a pretty girl to ride in it with him, so maybe I shouldn't be too quick to judge.

Nice trucks, thanks for sharing. How many trucks were there total? That looked like it had a great turn out!

Re: Truck show pics... Texas Heat Wave 2011
Texas Heatwave is always a HUGE show. The years I attended had several hundred trucks to look at.

Re: Truck show pics... Texas Heat Wave 2011
We(wife and i) was just spectators, so i dont really have many details. I took around 250 pics of just GM trucks and there were alot that looked stock that i didn't take pics of. If i had to guess, over 700 cars and trucks while we were there. When we left more were still comming in. It was a 2 day show. We just went saturday.
