Treating surface rust
It's been too long since I've done any kind of bodywork so apologies for the dumb question. I'm cleaning up some old panels that had surface rust. Once I have the metal cleaned up, what's the best "first coating" to prevent the rust from coming back through? Etching primer, epoxy primer, rust converter, other?
Thanks, David

Re: Treating surface rust
Epoxy Primer. Make sure all the rust is cleaned off first though.

Re: Treating surface rust
Thanks, Guys. Epoxy primer it is. I really appreciate the guidance (not a big fan of watching new paint bubble and fall off).
