New guy here. But i see alot of names from other places. Like allmost anything with wheels ...well mybe not green Phord exploders! Thats kind of and inside joke that some will get. Here are my 2 toys. 54 chevy and a 55 1st GMC with 10,000 original miles.

This is the bone stock 55 1st GMC. Its and arizona truck with 10,000 original miles. Pretty solid great running truck .Its also now for sale bought another!!!

Here is another. This was on a lake in upstate NY a few years back.
Lots of old trucks laying around. This one no longer looks like this. Its getting a bit cleaned up as i have allmost 400,000 miles on her now.

PS - He did exactly what I did! I put the same antenna in the same spot!

I am looking at a 54 Panel truck and would like some 54 info from you guys. Did you do an IFS swap or and entire frame conversion? Or are your still running the solid front axle. Also, what kind of powertain do you guys run in your trucks? 54's have such a wicked body style to them, and this panel is no exception.

Hey, dubie

My truck sits on the original frame, but the PO who I bought it from put a Mustang II IFS in with upper & lower tubular A-arms ... a 350 sbc with a mild hydraulic cam and an Edelbrock Performer intake (I installed an Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm 4 bbl carb) ... plus, it's got a mid-70s 12-bolt Chevy rear end and a 350 TH auto trans ... 15" rear wheels/14" front wheels.

You can see ALL it's spec's plus everything I've done to it since I got it 9 months ago at my site (link below my sig).

It's an all-out blast to drive, man!

Hey Fred Long time! Still run the the stock beam axle with lots of frame work and tricks. Sits pretty low . Also still run a warmed up 235 original motor in my chevy.Its .080 over with some off the block and some off the head to raise the comp,also balanced and some other old circle track stuff. This truck gets the sh*t driven out of it all year long.Allmost 400,000 miles so far

more. Oh and its also got A/C stashed in there with 5 speed O/Drive.The back half is on air ride so i can use it as a truck or a car.

PS - I put AC in my truck, too ... but after installing it I realized the plastic under-the-dash plenum wasn't to my liking, and wasn't needed either! So I got rid of it, put '55 Chevy knobs everywhere on my dash and when I finish the interior (after finding the Lincoln seats I want) I'll put the vents where I please.

i'd be willing to bet this isn't the same one. This guy could care less if he sells it or not. He ended up with it because he made that front tow bumper for the previous owner right before he dies , so he got this panel truck as payment. He's only asking $500 for it, so it's not a ton of cash, just gotta convince the wife i need one
