Re: 72 SWB layin frame

Plans are for full air ride-sd notch out back on the factory two link with blocks...this was a lwb truck i was putting together but for safety's sake I wanted a decent swb frame to work with so now the fun starts! I've already done a lot of paint work and stuff but i'd like to finish this thing out by summer. This is where I was at with the project when I decided to go with this new frame....

By chance, do any of you guys know a good sand-media blaster near mansfield or fort worth? I'm tired of trying to bust off this concrete like crap!

I believe that's a Chrysler color. My truck is painted a Chrysler blue as well.

Re: 72 SWB layin frame

HAHA-yeah we obviously shop the same! And yes PB5 is the electric blue from chrysler-I picked it because of the pearl and it was an easy mix....181 grams of fine satin i believe! I found a sand blaster in mansfield, talked to him today..he is going to clean my crap up on monday for cheap.....the frame is painted and under the cab! I will post pics as soon as it warms up enough to walk outta the door! I'm thinkin about moving this thread to a build thread, what do you guys think?

Re: Project "Nympho"

There's some wrecking yards here locally that I've bougt control arms from, for as cheap as 40$ a piece. They even pulled them for me so I didn't have to get dirty.
