Great looking boat!

I have an old mid 90's 18' bayliner. Nothin' special. It was a freebie from my father in law last year.

Re: Who else is a boater? Lets see some pics.

I thought I had seen a boat thread before I wasn't quite sure so I put this one up anyway, to me ya can't look at enough boats, kind of like our trucks.

I just got this boat last june so I have never put her in the water. I am going to do a full restore before she is back in the water, two - three years. I have owned a boat here for the last 35 years we have the Sacramento river and Delta, Folsom Lake, Tahoe, and numerous lakes within an hour or two. Nor Cal is a great place to own a boat.

This is the engine, it's a 120 HP Chris Craft KLC, which is a Hercules XB that Chris Craft converted for marine use. I am replacing a bad valve so she is in a few pieces at the moment. They are one of the sweetest sounding motors ever, and move these boats nicely.

This other pic is of my dream boat, a Grand Banks Sedan, with over a thousand mile of water in the Sacramento Delta I plan on spending some time after on it.

I used to be a boater. Does that count?
Here are few pics of a "typical day on the Delta." My son took a couple of his friends out on my Hallet "flat", & I rode with Jerry Jones in his Stevens "flat."

Not all of the pics are strictly boats & I apologize for that.

My son, Andrew, & his friends setting up for a pass "at speed"
Ditto for Jerry.
Andrew having fun
Andrew not having fun.

Jerry not having so much fun anymore.
I don't know if this is Andrew, or Jerry!
Andrew & friends cleaning out the cobwebs.
Jerry haulin' the mail.
I have no ideas whose boat this is. But I found it intriguing & I felt sorry for the flag guy.

Did somebody say flat bottems?
First picture is my old black/silver diamond on the river around 100 and change,2nd pic was the motivation at the time.
3rd shot is the twin to my old black/silver boat with wild wayne holding while dear old dad took a picture at 1 of the lakes around his place.
3rd/4th pictures are of the grim reaper of flat bottems itself, hondo with more motor than should ever possibly bolted into something that light!

Re: Who else is a boater? Lets see some pics.

I used to have a boat.. now a days I just visit it when I take the kids back to their mother... lol

I don't have a picture of it, but here is a stock picture of the current version:

It is a 98 (the picture here is an 07) and has a 350 with a 3 blade SS prop. Good for about 65 on glassy water with 2 riders and light toys.
