Son gets an upgrade
My 18 year old son has both football and academic scholarships coming in and we decided it was time for an upgrade. He's giving his 1990 GMC back to his Papaw, who gave it to him three years ago. He'll be cruising off to college next Fall in a very clean low miles 2010 Chevy Silverado that we just brought home this week. Proud of my boy and his accomplishments.
GTT

Re: Son gets an upgrade
Naw Man. I've still got a daughter at home who's not planning on going anywhere.
Seriously, not wanting to come on here bragging, but my boy made All-State in football and he's his high school's first ever 4 year letterman. He's also got a 3.6 GPA and a good ACT score as well. He'll make something of himself in the world. Personally, I would love to see him go off to college in the classic 90 model, but he needed something a bit more dependable. That 2010 should be a good truck.....no issues, low miles, clean underneath, clean under the hood, and clean CarFax. GTT

Re: Son gets an upgrade
Good reasons to be proud! In 15yrs he'll be pulling the drivetrain from the 2010 and swapping it into the 90 so he can remember his high schools days lol

Great for him on the accomplishments & "new" ride! Sounds like he's been taught well, & you should no doubt be proud.

Re: Son gets an upgrade
Thanks. He's a good kid and isn't afraid of work, unlike a lot of kids these days. We're all proud of him.
