Good luck on your sale - that is a beautiful combo that you don't see restored very often.

Thanks Jocko I figured I'd better do glove box doors to match the clusters I've been restoring for the 67 guys.

Re: Restored 67 gauge cluster and glove box set

Is this a weld on part or can this unit be bolted on? I Didn't know that dash, glove box cap comes off. I may be Interested in one of these later on in my build.

If your talking about the dash assembly (yellow part) then this part is spot welded at the lower half of the windshield and also bolted at the A pillars. I used this just to take pictures for the gauge cluster and glove box door but never intended it to be part of the sale. All the other components are bolt on. Hope that answered your question

You know this question has come up before and it would be risky for the both of us as in the shipping process. I wouldn't want your original spid being lost in the mail going to or from. Clusters and parts are replaceable but OE spids arent. It's do able as far as the work but there is that risk involved. I've done a couple of these where guys just retain their original door and use the ones I provided in their truck.

Re: Restored 67 gauge cluster and glove box set

I would be interested in a set for my 67 GMC k1500 I have a good glove box door all my gauges work but PO overtightened the screws on the bezel. can you repair that? no missing pieces just cracked.

PROJECTKING asked how much if parts were sent ?

I have a GMC and they did not use SPID label in 1967 so that's not an issue.
they look nice.
what is your turn around time not inc. shipping?
Thanks,

Arcticman, time and cost would all depend on the condition of the parts you have. The screw hole cracks are typical on these. I can repair them and reinforce the bezel in the process to prevent future cracks. I'll send a pm with my contact info to send some pictures and we can go from there. Thanks, Curt
