He's alive and well! Can't wait to see how the visit goes. Looks like he made a new friend already.

Not that you've asked for help but, from what I have experienced with the last two bouts with chickens, I think 5 days is too much lingering at one stop. You might want to tighten that up a bit. I don't see people filling 5 days taking pictures and making up stories*. It wasn't scheduled with Bonne. Like CG said, we just had him a couple few days, took pictures, and sent him to the next on the list. With Monroe #1 the next stop was decided by the sender. That should have worked well, because the sender sends a PM and if one can't do it at that time the sender goes to one who can. Just adding my 2 cents. Thanks for bringing him back.

* I got him Saturday and shipped him Monday this last time.

Show and tell day for Monroe. Took him out to I & my dad's barn and workshop. Monroe has grown quite fond of the 67-72's- I warned him that I don't have the collection that some of the guys on here do (Lock doc- etc). These are two of my trucks (the spare worked great to hold Monroe up- he's a wobbly sucker).

Next we checked out my parts collection in what was a grainery at one time- he appreciated the parts but, thought oats & corn would be a better use of the space.

Lastly, we checked out the cab from CA that will end up on the K10- he said it was okay but, special K has a orange one that's cleaner than this one. Tomorrow night I'll have a few pics that include the family.

He can sure be critical when it comes to these truck parts. Looks like an awful good cab to me. that rust can happen just from sitting in one spot too long. My how he has become quite the expert in such little time. If you take him to town and people ask, "Who's your chicken?", you'll have to reply, "No, he's not a native. He's visiting from the Evergreen State".

Well, in appreciation of our honorable chicken, the town rolled out the red carpet to make him feel welcome. He thought "home of the flying chicken hawks" would better than jets

She thinks the outfit she has him in will improve his image- I just think he'll be confused which bathroom to use the next time we're out. Tomorrow night will be his last night with us, moving on Friday morning. Thanks for checking in

Monroe even enjoys a little off-roading! Hope PETA doesn't come after me for not having a helmet on Monroe. Tomorrow he's off to KS- it's been fun!

Looks like he had a great time with your daughter. At least I can't see any change in his expression with the new duds. On the road again...
