A little cutting and welding on the Jimmy floor

The previous owner felt a need to cut a hole above the gas tank in the floor of the Jimmy. I can only guess he did it for access to the sending unit? The gas tank wan an aftermarket 30+ gallon tank that looks similar to those Northwest metal products tanks. I was having problems like I was running out of gas so I decided to put a repop tank in (after soldering a filler neck on). While the tank is out I decided to weld a patch in the floor. Here are a few pics of todays progress.
