Stunning 1937

Just want to share something with all of you. Today I attended a little car show to benefit the baseball team at Menlo Atherton High School. I took my 1969 Firebird. As I pulled in and parked what pulls in beside me but a 1937 Chevrolet truck! My jaw dropped. In a word it was: Stunning
Having a truck myself I hit it off immediately with the owner. I spent a long time listening to the history of it. Extrodinary that this guy has owned this for 55 years!
It was just only recently restored in 2004. Following are pictures taken while it was cloudy and later with the sun. Believe me they do not do it justice at all. The candy apple red paint is gorgeous. Lastly, it came as no big suprise when at the close of the show he won the award for best truck.
