Fuel Tank Strap Replacement on Fleetsides

I removed my tank for flushing and both straps broke, so I need to replace them. LMC and Classic Industries along with a few others sell the straps by themselves. The original straps are riveted to the brackets, which I do not need to replace.

I'm assuming I have to grind out the 3 rivets on each bracket to install the new ones with bolts??? Has anyone ever done this?
