1970 K10 longbed step side retired forest service truck.

I have a 1970 K10 forest service truck from colorado. It is a longbed stepside 4x4. I used the vin decoder and found out some very good information, but would like to know more. They did not make many of these trucks and information on them seems hard to come by. I am brand new to the site and thought one of you might be an expert. Any information at all would be very helpful. The truck has a 350 and a 4 spd. I understand these were options. It reads 64k and some change on the odometer, could this be original motor and trans or did they come with something else? Is it a 205 transfer case? The truck runs and drives really well, however it needs some cosmetic attention. I would like to begin work on it slowly, but I want to know all I can about it first. Thank you for you time.
