GMC Radiator support question? HELP!!

I'm new to the forum site, but I've come here to find answer that I desperately need haha, my problem is....I'm restoring a 1972 gmc 1500 from the ground up! Every it and bolt new, and putting a 2004 lq9 and 4l80e 2wd into it, the swap went great and so far the drive train looks awesome! Couldn't be happier, but my problem now is that I live in Alberta Canada and getting parts for these trucks is quite a challenge, so here it is.... I want to change the front end of the truck to th 67 style grill and fenders, but!... This is becoming a challange because I can't find a reproduction 67 gmc rad support so my question is, can I use a 72 rad support with the 67 fenders, hood, and grill?? All the threads I've read don't really give a straight answer. !
