I've always made my own gasket to seal them up if needed. I used the same window tape for installing glass into you channel (holds glass tight) You can usually get this from any glass shop, and comes in a roll just cut to length and pop your holes in it and your done. I also use this for installing fenders to keep from scratching the paint. My2 cents...

Good to hear the airline monkey is off your back...

FYI the tape is not sticky but when you apply pressure it will hold very well.
