1984 C20 front wheel seal/ bearing help needed

I am trying to install new wheel bearings and seals on a 1984 C20 Suburban. I bought my parts thru Rock Auto- new hubs with races already installed, bearings are National A-35 and 1510S, the seals are National 8974S. My problem is that the seals contact the inner race of the inner bearing when I try to install them. Before the seal seats in the bore, the lip is contacting the bearing race. I have looked and the bearing is seating on the race, so I don't understand why it is not working. If I press the seal in until it just misses the inner race of the bearing, it is not half way into the bore. The inner race feels like it is against the lip in the hub. So any ideas? Pictures or measurements would be nice too. If you have a known good hub, could you post a picture of the seal and bearing in the hub? Or a measurement of the depth from the back face of the hub to the inner race. Any help is appreciated!
