Nv4500/205 Driveshaft Lenght
I'm about to make the swap from stock TH400/208 to 4500/205. Planning the driveshaft situation has me scratching my head. This is in a 85 k20 LB. The 4500 combo is 11 inches shorter overall than the 400/208. I have a fixed output on the 205. Therefore, the rear shaft will be converted to a slip/spline but, it will be just shy of 64 inches. That seems excessively long? Denny's Driveshaft only offers shafts up to 60 inches. I assume that's to keep it from "whipping?" Do I need to consider going to a 2 piece shaft? Don't really want to deal with a center bearing and another cross member.
