Drilling holes in my roof - Clearance light ?

This is for my Suburban so no raised pads to go by.

I've seen others where, obviously added later, that the middle three looked too grouped together.

I did find a few pictures of factory light installations but I don't know the dimensions.


I have mine placed 9" apart. I am not sure if I should go closer together.
I haven't drilled any holes yet and will be using nutserts for fastening points.

I think they look OK, but I am looking for opinions, I only want to do this one time
