67 tilt column
Ok been working on the ramp truck this week swapping in the tilt column I rebuilt and shaved. I have a question for those who know more than me as in KevsClassic are any of the other tilt column guys like Retro68, LockDoc, are anyone with info on the correct # for the tilt.
The white one is what came out of the standard column in the ramp I took out. The black ones are some I have had forever. I think I bought them when I did the swap in my 71 but that was 20+ years ago now. I have 2 of these black cam's for some reason and the inside diameter is bigger than the white one so I will assume they are for a tilt but not sure they are for a truck are what year if it makes any difference???? The numbers on the black ones are 399297. The white one is 3902187

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. Last edited by Andy4639; 01-20-2019 at 08:40 PM. |
