Instrument panel different size bulb holders?

I am putting my instrument panel back together after some interior painting and I come up with one bulb holder that is different in size than the other bulb holders.

I have 11 bulb holders and 11 holes in the printed circuit for bulb holders, but one of the 11 holders is smaller than the others. I see no difference in the holes in the printed circuit or backing plate. Did I somehow get a wrong bulb holder installed in the panel by a previous owner?

Also, the bulb holders I see in the LMC catalog (36-0190) are shown for LED bulbs. Will that part number also work for conventional bulbs?

I am attaching pics to show the difference in bulb holder size. The configuration of the small bulb holder seems to be the same, but it just slips through the hole in the backing plate.

I do have the special bulb holder for the fiber optic line, so that is not an issue relating to this problem (I think.)
