Steering Wheel Question - 72 C-10

I have a question for the experts out there. I have a 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne Color Code 510 Medium Blue with White Top. The truck is restored pretty much original but had a 60's era Camaro steering wheel. I bought a new 15" original style steering wheel in blue.

Is this darker blue wheel what would have been in the truck originally? It doesn't match the medium blue interior but I've searched online and seen a few unrestored originals and they have the darker wheel on medium blue interior.
