BBC into Camaro Sub frame?

Hello all,
I have another question for the engine gurus! It's looking like I'm gonna have to pull my fresh 383 out of my '59 Apache, with a '79 Camaro sub frame. I have a built, turn key BBC ready to roll. I know that I'll have to change my spring rate, as my truck already sits LOW in the front (drop spindles and Eibach springs with half a coil cut off). My question is, will (should) a BBC fit into the hole that the SBC came out of? I don't see why not! I had a SBC in my '68 previously, with the POL engine mounts. Obviously headers, etc may be an issue, but as far as physically fitting, the BBC should bolt right into place where the SBC was, right? I've been torn on which truck should get the big block. Previously, I wanted it in the '68, but I'm probably going to sell that truck. So, it may get my 383, and my '59 may get the 496 BBC!

Thanks!

Nik
