55.2-59 Inner step install..

Hi there
I"ve been searching on here for the inner step install pictures that someone did, I"m trying to find out if the alignment of the rocker to the door is there meant to be a small gap under the door there because mine keeps hitting the rocker when i close the door...I cant seem to get it low enough or back enough..

How far up does rocker go to as well, im thinking the front of the door but mine seems a bit short...

If anyone's got a build with the post number or pictures to help out thanks.. till then ill keep going through everyone's awesome builds to figure it out..
