Clear coat aluminum?

Getting to the final pieces of rebuilding the top end of an engine for my 66 c10 and I'm wondering what to do with the intake. I bought a topend kit from summit with edelbrock estreet heads , intake, comp cam/lifters, timing set, gaskets blah blah blah and I have two choices with the intake. Leave it bare and it will oxidize over time or clear coat it and have it potentially peel and look worse sooner. Love to hear opinions on this.
