Craigslist Finds Thread
I looked and didn't find a thread set aside for Craigslist ads to have one place to show others.

Re: Craigslist Finds Thread
Seems funny that these trucks are never around when you are looking for ,just when you are happy with what you have.

Re: Craigslist Finds Thread
Here's a 454SS. Doesn't look like an actual SS to me but I could be wrong.

Re: Craigslist Finds Thread
Could be a real SS454, I guess. I don't know how to tell once they aren't original. I thing this one is very tastefully done. At least it's actually badass, unlike the factory version. The wheels are even close to factory looking, at first, but better. As much as I'm not a big fan of "graphics" I think I would want to have a more artistic, yet looks the same in general, SS454 painted/ar-brushed on just because and for one more touch of same but different and better.
That Tahoe is a deal. Broken axle shaft from broken u-joint from too big a tire for a 10-bolt or Dana44. Might be the yoke itself broke on a good u-joint. I like it, but too big for it's britches. Put some stock to a few inch lift spring on and 33-35" tires and you'll have something cool. It seems anyone who does an SAS also always go for all the height. I'd like to do an SAS job on my '95 Suburban and use stock springs. Probably be about a 4" lift. Then run 285/75-16s on 8" wheels. It would sit like a square body Suburban did (or a bit higher) and not turn every head...only those who knew what they were looking at

Re: Craigslist Finds Thread
Holy cow, this needs a to-the-top. Ha. Been a while. Here are two pretty nice ones I've stumbled onto, both 98s. Blue one is kinda a dream truck of mine, but the rockers are shot. Seller seemed great, very honest - I was just NOT looking for bodywork to do though. Otherwise, this would already be in my garage. Anyway - this is near exactly what I'm looking for (96-99-ish K2500 Silverado, reg cab, low miles, no rust - I know, not being TOO picky... ) Ha. And the white truck IS low miles, but it has a big honkin dent in the hood that is hidden by the bug deflector. Seller disclosed it, so that's good (dealer). Again, I'm being picky - it is a dealer and they may have even replaced the hood (also a ding in the tailgate). Otherwise, near perfect with just under 100k mi. Pricey but nice. Sadly, burgundy probably my least favorite of the 4 colors available - and, of course, it's the only color I've ever owned in a T400 (red 92 with burg interior). Anyway - it's a C6P with 4L80E and a 454. Nice combo, HD truck. I like white ok, but not sold on the interior (and the dents), which is odd since it's my favorite combo for an early 60's belair or impala... Oh well. Anyway, enjoy, and please keep your eyes peeled and ears to the ground for my reasonably priced dream truck! Ha.

Re: Craigslist Finds Thread
Those are nice. I'm always looking for a clean one, too. I stay away from the rusty zone. Not that the right well cared for garage kept, no salt, low mile gem couldn't come straight out of a Minnesota garage.
After I bought my nothing special but no rust from Georgia '95 K2500 Suburban ex-police I find a gorgeous rust free saddle looking color no luggage rack like mine '94 (I prefer old int) K2500 Suburban with lt beige cloth interior even though it had single headlight like mine in MN at a dealer. I think they all had racks except municipal/police/govt orders. That thing was something special in a really really nice color combo. Mine is white with blue int.
