Have fun with that. I'm doing that soon as well. I've found my vintage air kit to be not much more than those meccano toy sets I played with as a kid. Real mickey mouse and cheap with how stuff is made/mounted. Everything seems to fit "close" but nothing seems to fit "perfect" and very little seems like it was made specifically for the application. I hope it works better than it went together.

I have a few good local welders in the area so hopefully I can do some new pieces and cut modify existing ones to get what I need. not fun but I knew from the beginning this was going to be a problems. Just another day and another hurdle.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Local guy welded up all my custom ac lines so all I have to do is get my length and oriantaion figured out so I can get them crimped. New steering linkage is on the way. I'm getting so close but my small to do list is still massive...sigh

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Installed all the steering linkage and gauges for hopefully the last time. Moved on to wiring and completed the front harness just have to complete a few power hookups and add fluids and this project should get a pulse finally. Really thought I had tons of space under the hood until I started cramming everything in there.
