Re: keeping animals out of my truck
Ooooh!! That's a good one. I have never heard of them referred as "trash pandas". What sucks is he's gonna have to deal with everyone of them.

Re: keeping animals out of my truck
i ended up catching the two smaller ones
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e02C...ature=youtu.be i was going to edit it down but thought it was kinda suspenseful waiting for them to go into the cages. they didnt even seem to mind they just sat there and ate the food. no sign of the 3rd larger one. they showed up late. first video it was around 12:30 this video was at 3am so glad i didnt wait up all night with a gun waiting for them. they were babies so i just drove them to a forest preserve about 8 miles away and let them go. so gameplan is im gonna leave the traps set at night for a few days them put some ammonia in the truck and re-tarp it. its been uncovered for about 5 days as theres been no rain. no clue if ill catch the big one so quickly again |

Re: keeping animals out of my truck
I hate to kill anything but sometimes nuisance animals have to be done away with , Ground Hogs are a good example and Coons are right in line .

Re: keeping animals out of my truck
This is a dumb question, but I have never trapped an animal like that. How do you move the trap around with them in it? I assume carefully haha. Do you kind of tilt it down one way and then pick it up? I would be afraid they would get me through the cage when I move it. We have a lot of wild life around our house, including lots of black bears I have met and its in the city... I would love to relocate some of the raccoons as they do not seem afraid of me at all.

Supposed to rain tomorrow so I through a half gallon of ammonia in the truck and poked a bunch of holes in it and retarped it. Didn't set the traps last night as the power was out so had other stuff on my mind. Did notice someone hate the small piles of food left in front of the doors. |
