Looking good! I'm pretty sure they're doing that because of overspray issues if you don't tape off the inside of the cab. Going above and beyond doing it in the primer stage but this way they can just prime, seal, and paint the exterior before removing the tape then doing the interior and masking the outside areas...

But wouldnt painting the exterior before even priming the interior be a risk of overspray when you get to the inside? I would think that you would prime the whole thing, block it, then seal and then paint all together(since it is all going to end up the same color).

It just seems that there is a chance for error in the masking of the completed exterior to prime, block, seal and paint the inside. Right?

i got a job again and having fun at it too

idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

I wrestled with this myself. Ended up doing the interior first, then all the exterior cut ins, then well assemble and paint like a new car.
