Hey James;

Yes the truck was originally med olive green and white. I considered painting it huger orange & white but decided the original colors was best !

I'm not either that's why he's doing it "LOL" I asked him about that yesterday and he said if he didn't have the ability to bake it that would be the case.

Hey Gary, nice looking build!! But your going way too fast, slow down, your making the rest of us look bad!! As a fellow builder going through a divorce I can seriously see what great therapy working on your truck would be. Keep up the good work (just slow it down a little)

Maaaaaaan, that's nice! Are you gonna use the lift and drop the whole shootin' match on the chassis? Great truck!

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )

Low;

That's the plan but it's coming home for a while ( Possible Monday ) I have more work to do on the chassis before mating the two ! I'm swapping engines, dropping a 383 in place of the 350, and still have all the plumbing to do. Once everything is ready ( or at least close ) it will go back to his shop so he can make sure everything lines up propperly ! He's done several this way, and it's how it's done in the factory !

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )

Thanks again everyone for the positive feedback !!! My first 72 was the same green, but no white and it was a step side. I liked it, but the two tone and the trim really make this thing POP..... I love it !!!

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )

There has been about 5 years that I was watching your build and may others, while mine sat idle ! So I know the feeling very well. Sometimes other things take priority, babies, bills, life..... But sooner or later the time comes around and the project is back in front.

Everyone else’s builds inspired me, so I just kept collecting the parts and biding my time !

So thanks to everyone for the inspiration!

It's been awhile since I checked on your build. It sure does look great. Looks like the finish line is just around the corner.
