Need to finish this thing

There is a long story behind this build, I bought the truck in late 01' and immediatly cut it apart bagged it and threw some rims on it along with a couple minor mods I wont bor u with. Drove it daily somewhat as rolling advertisment for my chassis shop I use to have, things changed in life bad business partner and it became a work truck the truck then went downhill from there eventually getting hit in a parking lot (hit and run) ball joint failure (from hopping) crushing the front fender. it then was parked driven only when i felt like being embarrased. Ordered new panels from GM put the fender on painting the inside first of course and welding the new bedside on (I'll have pics of this it will help any of you who ever have to do one its actually pretty easy and the bodyshop wanted 11 hours labor to do it) I then moved into a new house 1 1/2 years ago where I completly took the truck apart down to cab and frame. The rear suspension needed some love after bending 4 link bars and going back to leafs temporarly, so I put new notches in, went from step notches to round notches, put a 2 link in it (trailing arms) and am fabing my own upper sliding links to center the axle. I also changed the locatuion of the bags from over the axle to placing them on the link bars to soften the ride (cantilever) remounting tanks (going from a 5 and 7 gallon to a single 10 gallon) put my compressors in a different spot and clearenced the gas tank crossmember to pick that thing off the ground. The front didn't recieve much except some clearenceing for steering and some cut and extended stock wheel wells and fenders, (to keep the stock look under the hood and not messing with moving ecm and anti lock brake controller) So here are some pics of where I'm at I wish I could find some old pics to show how good this thing used to look

Re: Need to finish this thing

Got a little done but don't have pics yet almost finished with the final rear end mods so when I finish I'll get some pics up, then I can paint it(the frame) and maybe have a bed on this thing for the first time in 2 years, its tuff to find time with a family.

Re: Need to finish this thing

Thinking of cutting my entire bed floor out to frame in a structure and smooth panel the whole inside of the bed has anyone done this?
