4l60 swap?????

a friend of mine has a 4l60 in a 95 z28 that he will sell me for $150 less converter. my question is what will i need to put it in my truck? i know i will need a harness and computer but where can i get them at a reasonable price? what should i do about the speedo, its electronic too? i am for sure buying it for the simple fact that its got 6k on a hi-performance rebuild!

Rayville, you might want to try Bowtie overdive. I know they advertise in the back of magazines. I know they have a stand alone comp. for the 4L80. Check their website. Then again, you can always sell the 4L60 and get a 700r that doesn't require a comp.

Street and Performance also makes a tail shaft that allows you to run a cable driven Speedo. www.hotrodlane.cc or (501)-394-5711 They are a little high priced but make really good products.
