You dont even have to do that. The specs are online.

I may be confused here but are you trying to put half inch studs where a 7/16" stud was originally?

I thought that number referred to the twist for the lug nuts. Am I completely wrong? cus when I search 1/2 20 on summit, I get lug nut results.
