Awesome shop.
I was thinking of a lean-to also. Just for the dirty body work. I had a temporary one up, but the wind blew it apart.

Your lean-to better have a 6-12 pitched roof for Idaho the snow load. Alan doesn't have that problem in Georgia

Have you seen it. I'm thinking it could hold some Island Park snow.

Re: Daverods 52

Found two front floor pans on ebay for 50 plus 25 for shipping. LMC had them for 69 each. Plus, 20 each for oversize, plus shipping. I think it was a score. Couple cab corners and some toe kicks and I'll be welding.

Re: Daverods 52

Talk about storage issues, You are storing that poor thing on the walls. Hope you are not pulling the cab and bed up to the rafters to store them.

I need one of those heaters in my garage. I have a propane salamander heater but the fumes are terrible after a few minutes

Re: Daverods 52

That's how you put 10lbs of $hit in a 5lb bag. I got plenty of room. I bet I could get two more trucks in there. New floors/ cab corner in the mail. Maybe I better go move that fender. Now the S10?

They had a good one at Cosco last time I was there. I think Lowes even has a few. 80-100,000 btu vented to the outside. Hotdwag one is the best. Heat my house and my garage highest bill was 135. Just do it Bubba. You can thank me later. http://www.modine.com/v2portal/page/...ontent_013.htm

Re: Daverods 52

I now wish I ran a gas line to the shop also. It is gas isn't it? I was thinking of a wood burning stove to heat the shop.

Ya, u could do propane? Gas line is easy to run It's just plastic 18" down. Just go rent a trencher. Wood's work.

Re: Daverods 52

Already did that. What a PITA. I'm 90 ft from the house, and more to the gas supply. I think that wood burning stove will work out and be cheaper to run. But it's going to get warm soon. Maybe by next year.

Hey Dave what compressor did you buy again. I'm trying to deside between the Kobolt 30, and the campbell 60.

Re: Daverods 52

I got the Campbell with the 80 gallon tank. It made a big difference with all my air tools. Especially the air grinders.

Re: Daverods 52

sweet. I'm gonna go with the 60. If I ever need more air my dad has a 30gal tank sitting at the house. I just dont use it enough to need the bigger motor and tank.

I can get this one for just under 400. And I'm about to get the lowes tax refund card so the extra 10% they give me is basicly going to pay for it!

It's only a single stage. I would get the 80. Bigger is better. You'll use it.

Re: Daverods 52

Now how does the engine help the grill?

I ended up with the 30gal Kobolt. I didn't have room in the eletrical box. I'm not going to be in my house but for maybe a couple more years. And it's dual voltage!

Well, that sucks. I don't think that 30 gal would keep up with my 20 ga. brad gun. No sand blasting for you. I'm sure you'll put it to good use though. The engine turns the rotisserie and provides smoke for the smoker. Da

Re: Daverods 52

I see.

My dad has the same compressor and I used it to sand blast my frame, didn't have any problem with it keeping up. I had it set to I think 70psi and I was using my pressure blaster.

Also used it to paint the frame. I actully thought about buying him the 60gal tank and taking his. They are about the same in price. Would have been better for the plasma.
