are 67 4x4 crossmembers the same as 72?

I am still trying to figure out what crossmember and engine stand combo works for a 67 4x4 with a 292 I6. I have a crossmember from a 72 4x4, and some 292 stands I bought from a member here. It doesn't look like the stands will work with the crossmember and my frame. The bolt holes for the stands don't match the holes in the top rail of the frame. I'm guessing 2 and 4 wheel drive stands are different? Are 67 4x4 crossmembers different than 68 and up? I could really use some help or pictures here. Thanks Frank
