Re: September 2011 TOTM
I would like to nominate 72MARIO and his 1968 Chevrolet Suburban. We just spent 10 days away camping with me towing our 30' trailer behind our '68 and Mario and his family in their '68 Suburban towing their vintage TRAVELUX camper.
The Suburban still runs the original drivetrain and still sports it's original coat of paint. He has updated the brakes and has installed air bags to keep it low but still gets the job done. The picture of the Suburban and the air stream is from the day they picked up the camper about 4 hours north of their home. This is from his signature line: 1968 Suburban Bagged Slam's SS7 Ridepro E2 with big red valve, 2.5 drop spindles 327/400 3:73 posi dual exhaust with super 44 flowmasters 3rd row seat dealer instsalled A/C original paint totally rust free. |
