here is my 77 short bed.... 1st pic is when i went to pick it up it had no interior no wheels no motor no tranny 2nd and 3rd pics is where the truck stand now after a newer frond end swap and body drop still more work to do.....

are you talking about inner fenders for tire clearance? if thats what your talking about here is a pic i took when i trimmed my fire wall so can roll 2 inches of the groung on level roads not the best shot of he inner fenders but it will give you an idea.... im gonna be installing the trailer fenders next....

I dropped it.... then I put 24s on it. 4.5 drop in front .....
Inner fenders are out..... but rubs in that inside of the outter fender, so that has to be shaved....... may or maynot bag it...

now driving an 86 short bed.

no they dont rub at all... the tire doesnt hit anything not even the fire wall now that i trimmed it... im gonna be able to drive this thing 2 inches of the ground once im done with it of course thats on level roads like the freeway since i wont be making severe turns.... now on the city im gonna have to raise the front up just enough to clear the front tire.....yeah their 22s....

I would have to run 275/25/24 in front, for me to run a 4.5 drop in front... I put my stock coils back on today... I looked at a height chart 265/35/22 is just .5 shorter than 275/25/24
