Thoughts on rear sway bars

Any thoughts on rear sway bars?
Good, bad or indifferent.

Re: Thoughts on rear sway bars

At first I thought, "Yeah, I need to get one".
After driving on many types of roadways, good and very bad, my truck is fine without one.

Re: Thoughts on rear sway bars

I have a mid 90's camaro rear bar, brackets and links to go under the rear of the Suburban before summer. I think it will help pulling the trailer and not have as much body roll with a top heavy rig

Re: Thoughts on rear sway bars

Good if you have a fairly heavy sway bar on the front. No good without a good one on the front.

I installed front and rear at the same time, Truck handles much better cornering and at highway speeds.

Re: Thoughts on rear sway bars

Rear sway bars, like front sway bars, are a good thing. I can't think of a time when you ever wouldn't want one, especially in a tail-light vehicle like a pickup.
Of course, if you go *too* thick your ride quality may suffer.
