Brad2. . . .... ? for you....

How far off the ground is the crossmember @ this height? Is it bottomed out? I'm trying to determine how much kick-up your front subframe/rails have compared to the main rails under the body vs. a stock truck subframe/main rails.

Give me a couple of days and I'll find out for you. It is definately not on the ground. It will be capable of car show cruising when completly air out.

I wasn't able to get the crossmember measurement you wanted. It's on jackstands right now. Here is a drawing of the front clip Morrison sent us.

Yes thats it. The spindle measurment on the top pic is what everything was based on. It sets up a pretty low drive height. I knew it would get lower when deflated. How low was not really a concern because I never intended to plant it on the ground.

It now has a dash and that sure made a difference. That made it look much more complete. Steve even had a grill shell and some headlights in there the other day. It's slow going but it is progressing.

We don't have stupid questions here........ It will have heat and a/c. It will be a aftermarket unit that will fit behind the dash.

Brad, that is off the map buddy. I am VERY impressed with everything I see. You gotta be pumped every time you drop by there.

Please keep us updated as you can...

I have a question. Is it laid out in all those pics? How much did you have to step the rear pan up? I have a couple more, but answer these first...please

I saw the 55 when it was at the Air ride booth in Louisville KY. I must have looked at that car for at least a half hour. Very impressive and is likely the cleanest car I have ever seen. The exhaust work on that car alone has to be worth thousands. Id say your trucks in very good hands with those guys!!

Thanks for the kind words.....I do appreciate them.

N2TRUX I wasn't there when those pics were taken but I would say it was laid out. The frame kick up in the rear I have no idea how much. Just judgeing from the floor though I'd guess six inches. I was down there today and totally forgot to ask about that. It has the steering column hooked up now and I was totally amazed how far the wheels can turn with it laid out. Oh yea!!!

GMC JUNKIE TOO thanks for the heads up on the story. I'll have to check it out. Someone from Prime Media took a couple of pics of it back around April. I had no idea if anything would come of it or which magazine they would put it in.

It's at I-35 and SE 89th. Behind the big parts place, is it Classic Auto Parts? Anyway you would never know it is there because the is no sign on the building.
