Re: Ol' Blue 1970 - It's Quite a Story
Today's little project was cleaning, priming and painting the engine mounts that will going in with the new engine. They sharpened up nicely.

Today, my friend finally got a few moments to bring over an A-Frame so we could get my new engine out of its shipping crate. He's going to be on vacation for two weeks, so I will use the time to paint the engine and other parts before he gets back.
![]() I plan to post more pics when I paint the engine. It should be soon.

Re: Ol' Blue 1970 - It's Quite a Story
Hey Folks,
I'm trying really hard to complete this project. Run into a little electrical snag. I started a thread over in the electrical section. Here's a link to it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=596540 Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I just need the lights working properly so I can pass the safety inspection. Thanks! OlBlue1970 P.S. Here's a couple of pics of today's work. Getting really close to completion.

Re: Ol' Blue 1970 - It's Quite a Story
Love this! This gives me alot of inspiration for my project. A 1971 GMC Sierra Grande 2500 with a '72 Cadillac 472 stuffed under the hood. It is my daily driver, I just need to get out there like you did and start touching stuff up. Keep up the great work!
Mike
