Good luck with after market parts, I've bought a few interior pieces from a couple different distributors and so far haven't been happy with fit and finish (except for inner fenders). You would think somebody would make quality aftermarket parts for these pickups, especially for the common items. Watch ebay and craiglist for NOS and you can get lucky sometimes but for the most part prices have gone crazy...supply and demand.

I agree, and thanks for responding… since I am building a street machine, and not a show type truck, or back to original etc. I will not be needing any interior trim items, no headliner and what not(I have a custom aluminum dash) just odds and ends stuff… was looking for another option to LMC…

anyone else?

Re: My new project 86 Silverado

after checking over my engine, the builder did not know a few Oldsmobile specific things... in the left rear of the engine, there is a 29/32" plug for the oil galley, behind that plug is the actual oil galley threaded pipe plug, well for the Olds engines, that galley pipe plug is supposed to have a .040 hole in it to oil the distributor gear...

so i have to pop that 29/32 freeze plug out and replace the galley pipe plug with the right one with the .040 hole in it... i already have them to replace, but is a bummer... delays delays grrrrrr
