gas pedal swap

anybody know what you have to do to change gas pedal from one that is attached to floor to the later style that is not? do you have to change out the complete assembly?

I bought the mount from capt fab. Great looking piece! I also bought a complete pedal assembly from one of the other board members that parts out trucks. Hes located in Kansas, I think his name is tee it up? Something close to that anyways haha. I'm no where near the point in my build of installing all of it, but capt fab sent some instructions with the bracket.
