Fan shroud question.

With the onset of some really hot weather, I would like to add a fan shroud. My 350/260 crate with GM serpentine system runs right at the thermostat range (180) while moving. I have a new copper/brass radiator and it works really well. It can idle in 95*+ weather thru a typical drive-thru line, but the temp rises to 220*. Not a problem, but it appears that a shroud would help. Here's the the rub - The serpentine fan is 20" in diameter, way too big for my factory shroud. The fan sits almost dead center in the radiator (about 2-1/2" back from the core.)........... Have any of you guys, running the serpentine set-up, found any shroud that fits?
I don't have access to the fab. shop I used to, so any help would be appreciated.

Re: Fan shroud question.

Speedway sells a few kits that might work. Not much money and maybe could be tailored to work/look good.

Re: Fan shroud question.

I changed my fan blade to an 18 inch fan. Fits the stock shroud.

Re: Fan shroud question.

Have you tried looking for a different sized fan? That seems a much cheaper solution as opposed to picking up a diy shroud kit that needs custom mounts.

DUH! My brain never even thought about that.
Any part numbers for an 18" reverse-rotation fan?

Re: Fan shroud question.

I went with the Derale. Part #D17918. I think there were a couple different options.
