Re: LOST: balancer or pulley

got 'answer' from Damper Doctors, but got confused by the question he asked.
"How many v- belts if more than one how far apart are pulleys 1/2" or 1/4"?"

"Both are OEM check your other pulleys see how far apart they are on what ever one has two grooves"
Hereby I attached some photos of the HB which need replacement..

can somebody help?

Re: LOST: balancer or pulley

From your photos, it appears your belt ran on the inside groove of your old balancer. If that is the case, then either of the two (1/2" or 1/4") balancers you mentioned should work.
The choice comes down to availability and selection of the other pulleys if you decide to add P-Steering and AC. I think I would go with the balancer with close (1/4") grooves and figure out what I needed for any additional accessories. Your alternator isn't original, so at some point, someone fabricated its mount to match the balancer.
