Thanks, I liked the truck too. But this suits our needs better. Went to the cruise in Saturday. When my 3 yr old got tired she just laid in the back seat and watched Frozen!

They are never done. I have a few things planned. Ridetech controller for air ride, roof rack, and possibly new interior one day.

Re: Just picked up this 1966 Suburban

If I recall, this Sub was featured in an issue of Custom Classic Trucks. I sent an email asking about the drivetrain as its the same as mine: 283TH350. But no mention of what gears it's running. But it's a beautiful truck. I need to get going on mine. Anyone know of any media blasting places in Phoenix that cpuld do my body?

Re: Just picked up this 1966 Suburban

I found the Dec 2011 issue on ebay. Maybe you can ask the seller if that issue has your burb in it.

Re: Just picked up this 1966 Suburban

If you do a search on custom and classic truck magazine there is the story on your suburban. It is dated November 24/2011. I tried to post the link but it won’t work. Very nice Suburban

I seen that was the date on the article. But thought it might have came out a few months later.

They only go back to 2013.
