Epic Podcast about our hobby

Yes I am being a poll ho again Just humor me and play along!

So... how many of you guys have listened to the http://www.c10talk.com/ podcasts yet? You know that it is run and hosted by one of our members? Pretty badass IMHO.

Past interviews consist of many folks in our community... Mike Losh, Rene, Dino, Nate Porterbuilt and a bunch of others... If you haven't listened in yet, you're seriously missing out.

Josh had the opportunity to sit and talk with Ronnie recently. Check it (and all the others) out at http://www.c10talk.com/ You can even download the podcast(s) to listen to while you surf the site

I haven't listened to all of them yet. I really enjoyed the latest with Josh. I'm amazed that he started this site when he was only fourteen years old. Great info on how you and Josh met....awesome stuff...

Huge Thanks to Josh for taking the time to sit down and talk about all things Truck Forum! Really great to find out some history about the forum, but all the numbers - regarding number of users, most viewed threads, etc..

Thanks Liz for getting the word out about the episodes as well. Thanks, Ronnie

Thumbs up Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

I just listened to the podcast. Thanks Josh for sharing the story and for sharing this awesome library of invaluable information. I'm glad there is a place where people like myself can learn about our favorite trucks.

Also, thanks C10 Talk for having these podcasts. What a great idea.

Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

Liz ,,thank you so much ,,that Ronny talk show guy is really great,, and another thing which I am so happy about is that I tuned in and listened to Josh talking with Ronnie ,,and learned that Josh is really a well versed and full of knowledge.. I didn't know that he is a mechanic ,, .didn't know he specialized in 99-06 trucks . I am not sure what I thought ,,because Josh is always somewhere in the back ground most of time on here making sure all runs good and making us happy .. Ask him for me if he ever listened to that song by Hank Snow "Ive been every where Man " Just want to say I am proud of both of you and next year it will 20 years, from when he was 14 years old..

Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

I just listened to the pod cast and have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The interviewer did an excellant job. Pretty funny guy too. I appreciate Josh taking time to talk about how things got started here. Very interesting story. I would like to say thanks and that I have learned a lot of things reading this site, that I would not have learned had this site not been here. Also I'd like to say that I've made a lot of friends here. I actually go to the car/truck shows, forum get togethers and meets mostly to hang out with the people. The trucks are cool but it's mostly about the conversation.
I haven't listened to the other pod casts, but I think I'll check them out.
Thanks for posting this Liz!!

Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

I've been listening to the other episodes at work while I'm sitting a the computer. I really am enjoying them. It was nice listening to Rene's (C10 King) interview. I've was blessed to attend a couple of his get togethers and get to know him a bit. But learned a lot more about him in the interview. Ronnie does a great job bringing the information and personality out in his questions.

Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

Liz, I want to thank you and Josh for the work you do.

I wish everyone could understand the importance of being a supporting member. I'm not sure most people realize how easily this could all go away, if you guys lost interest.

I'm a relatively late comer. I bought a 72 new and have owned at least one of these trucks ever since, but during the nineties life got in the way. When I started working on my trucks again I accidently ran on to this site. I thought I knew everything about the 67-72, but, I didn't know nothin'.

Again, thanks
Larry

Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

Wow had no idea that existed...cool stuff! Just listened to the 1 with Josh & will listen to others little later on. THANKS FOR ALL YALL DO! This site has been invaluable to me the last several years. Not only for inspiration & encouragement while working on my Blazer, but just the vast knowledge that is on all these threads. Many times I've clicked on here hunting solutions to issues with our daily drivers or work trucks and found answers.

Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

I built my truck several years ago and used this site exclusively for information and guidance. The quality of help here is worth every cent of the admission, but another very important part for me is I have no reservations recommending the site to anyone. That may sound kind of bland, but there are very few sites that don't have a lot of language, and innuendo going on that I wouldn't want my kids or grand kids reading. I'm grateful this one is kept family-friendly.

I added an app for my Iphone called RSSRadio (there are probably others too) And I was able to add RSS flow to i, http://c10talk.libsyn.com/rss and then my phone notify me when a new episode is uploaded.

U are doing a great job! Really like your show!

Re: Epic Podcast about our hobby

Don't know how I have been missing this.
For the last six years I've only listened to podcasts when i'm driving.
Mike O'meara, Adam Corolla and now I'll add C10talk to my regular lineup.
I got some catching up to do. I've heard the first three episodes so far.
Sounds great, Keep up to good work.
