I bought dolphin gauges where the gas tank sending unit is 90 ohms instead of the 30 ohms used in a 1968 c10.
I am looking for a solution that does not require welding on the tank. Has anyone removed the movable float part of the new sending unit & attached it to the 1968 sending unit thus keeping the original gas tube... if so how did you do it Thanks |

Re: sending unit solution
^^x2^^
VetteVet is 100% correct the 67up trucks use a 0-90ohm fuel sender, the 1966 and earlier trucks use a 0-30 ohm fuel sending unit. Paul @ GMCPauls |
