Why do you need to find out what the original application and HP rating is? If you have just a block, it is going to need to be rebuilt regardless of it's original application and HP rating.

Captain!! Thank you for your response. I have purchased both the power steering plate and brake booster adapter plate from you.

Question: What year trucks will have the brake booster and master cylinder that will work for my 65 C10 with disc up front , drums in the rear??

To answer your question:
I just want to know so that I can add the information to the truck's history.

The engine is complete just gonna clean it up, paint and dress it up.

Thanks again!

You can use any booster from the list included with the booster bracket. As for a master, you can possibly use the master that comes with the booster, depending on which one you choose, or you can use a '73-'87 C10 master cylinder.

Thanks for the reply.

I ordered the brackets at least 2 years ago and there was no list of brake boosters included. Is there any way to get that list from you?

Thank you

In addition to the boosters in post #1 of the for sale thread, there is a more complete list in post #183 on page 8 of the for sale thread. Or, if you send me a PM with your email address, I will send it to you.

Re: >>>> engine suffix code "vo327pla" <<<<

Hi all

sorry to rake up this old topic but I was searching the internet because I have the same question and apparently this place is the only I found a discussion about the PLA engine suffix. Is this so rare as a suffix?

I just bought me a 53 150 sedan delivery, agreed not a real truck but it comes close and it has a V8 in it with a PLA suffix V0516PLA

Could anyone direct me to a site where I can get some more info on this?

Thanks in advance

Kevin
