A.C.C. Suburban carpet kit review.

I bought this complete Suburban carpet kit about 2004. The Suburban was garaged and rarely driven until 2009 when it was sold. From 2009 to current it was garaged about half the time. I bought it back last fall and just pulled the third seat. WOW! This is ridiculous. To put it in perspective that tire cover is one I took out of a 1988 Blazer and put on the tire at the same time as the carpet install. Factory GM v/s ACC.....not much of a competition I would say.

Are you saying that the carpet was originally the dark color? Wow, The Black carpet in my '67 pickup faded some but nothing like that. It sat outside a lot too. If it isn't rotted I guess you could dye it Black again.....

Re: A.C.C. Suburban carpet kit review.

I am not overly impressed with my suburban kit I got from them. The fit was poor

The ACC carpet in my Chevy II did the same thing.

Re: A.C.C. Suburban carpet kit review.

In for ACC's response. I just installed an ACC kit in my suburban. I agree on the fit, but I made it work. I got the Essex molded carpet kit in black. I'm going to be very disappointed if it fades like that....

EDIT: All of my windows are tinted, so I'm guessing this will help reduce the fading some.

Essex is the premium, not the cheap one like the OP used, I think you'll be fine. I have the Black Essex in mine too and I don't have tint yet and I have no fading with it park outside all the time. I am only one year in though

No responce from ACC yet.

Re: A.C.C. Suburban carpet kit review.

5 business days have passed with no reply from ACC about anything related.

Although not surprised, I am dissapointed they didnt take the time for atleast a return email.

Oh well, another vendor not to use!

Did you try calling them? I have emailed companies and not gotten a response, but I called and got something immediate.

Re: A.C.C. Suburban carpet kit review.

Depending on when A.C.C. merged with the other company may depend on whether Essex was available. The Essex was the product line from the company that got absorbed and then they added it to to the line up
